Cecilia's passion for Betty's music began in the mid 90’s in Adelaide when her sister brought home a reissue of Betty's first album Betty Davis, declaring: “ I walked into the store and this CD made me think of you, so I bought it…. Lets put it on!” She'd never heard a voice screech like a cat to fat and funky bass lines like that before. It was mind blowing. Jumping up to groove they didn’t stop boogieing for the next 90mins! yea!
